For Spring/Summer 2014 Jean Machine presents the ‘Forgotten Possibilities’ collection which is inspired by every day, by noticing the unexpected and discovering the unknown. The ordinary is extraordinary.

The Spring/Summer 2014 collection remains true to the Jean Machine aesthetic through simplified minimal designs that make for timeless clothing. Jean Machine offers the highest quality denim from Japan and Italy, in a variety of unique summer washes, the collection, as before revolves around 3 Jean fits the JM1 which has a slim fit, JM2 with a straight leg fit and JM3 with a regular slim fit. Different wash techniques have been experimented with for this season’s collection. Ecru denim is sprayed blue and enzyme washed to create a bespoke finish. The stand out pieces include screen-printed knee patches on faded, slim black jeans and contrast white stitching on bold blue denim.

Classic shirting and cotton jersey are re-issued in summer fabrics and new colour-ways, including three over-dye options: Pool, Smoke and Metal. Additions to the ready-to-wear collecting include Program, a crewneck knitted jumper in grey wool, and Display, mid-thigh length shorts available in navy canvas and Dial, a sleeveless denim vest. Both are available in two colour options.

Following on from the success of the collaborative effort from Autumn/Winter 2013 .Jean Machine has collaborated with the legendary fashion house Missoni for a Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Missoni’s focus on tradition, family heritage and superb quality resonate with Jean Machine’s identity-bonding a perfect fit between the two brands. At the forefront of innovative and exclusive knit techniques, Missoni consistently provides a luxurious collection which has been perfectly combined with the clean straight lines of Jean Machine’s denim cut and fits.
