We usually select our denim pair of the week but this week we decided to do things a little differently. We have selected a denim jacket this week and this is a jacket that stands out from the rest. The attention to detail is exceptional and the wear marks and distressing look as authentic as you can get. PRPS is dedicated to replicating the wear on denim from the 1900s and it has become an obsession of the brand to create vintage denim for the modern day man.
All the denim in the PRPS Collection is made from Japanese denim fabric with cotton grown in Zimbabwe which is the highest quality cotton in the world however in some cases American cotton is used depending on where the crop is strongest.
The PRPS Woven Denim Jacket is a cow boy western jacket with an uneven dye bleach wash process. The dramatic denim fade suggets survival. The pockets of the jeans are made to be mismatched for an authentic look. The jacket is made from 11 Oz Denim and features a cinch on the back which is reminiscent of the 1950s era.
